My Mac won't let me insert disk?

Postby derrin96 » Sun Jan 09, 2011 11:02 pm

I have a Macbook pro 10.6.2, (If that means anything)

And it's been maybe a month or two since I've been able to insert a disk.

I don't know if a disk is still in my laptop or not, it doesn't show on my desktop that there is any disk and when I go to iTunes it doesn't say there is a disk, but that's the only way I can think of that would possibly be wrong.

Is there anything I can do so I can insert my disk correctly?

To check if there's a disc stuck in the drive.. reboot the machine and hold the eject button down through the reboot. the disc should come out if there is one in there. other than that, what does the drive do when you try to put a disk in? does it sound like it's trying to take it in or is there just resistance?

Your mac is playing hard to get, which is why I go with the easy pc.
