I use Final Cut Pro on my Macbook to edit clips from the GoPro HD Hero 960. The clips are in very good quality before editing and exporting, as the GoPro shoots in high definition. However, the settings I use in Final Cut Pro obviously negatively effect the quality of the videos, because after exporting and uploading to Vimeo, the video looks like it was shot with a cheap point-and-shoot.

What I'm wondering is, what are the best settings for editing GoPro footage in Final Cut Pro.
I'm talking about EVERY setting you can suggest to me to make the quality better. If I don't know about the setting yet, that probably means it can help me improve the quality.
