How do I block pop ups on a Macbook Pro?

Postby tanguy99 » Sun May 29, 2011 11:52 am

Okay my mac keeps getting fricken popups! There like birth control ads and other ads but there is even not fun popups! I never saw anything because while they were loading i saw like the title of the site at the top and quickly closed it so I wouldn't see anything because I am do not want to see that nasty crap. I am only 13 and I feel like im gonna see somthing I dont want to. So at the top where it says safari I have the little check next to "block pop ups" and I went to the system preferences and in security I made sure it was on the setting to "block pop ups" and it is but they still show up! How do I stop it??
