I keep everything organized in my iCal on my macbook at home but it would be nice to be able to access it from work or school. Anyone know of any ways I can do this?

Sign-up for a Mobile Me account and sync your calendar with that Apple service.

If you're running a Mac (and iCal is a Mac program), you can turn on its Desktop Sharing feature (System Preferences -> Sharing -> Screen Sharing). Set up the appropriate permissions, and turn it on.

Then, from a remote location, use a VNC client (JollysFast VNC works very well, as does Chicken of the VNC). Plug in the IP address of your home (you'll likely have to set your router up to allow the incoming traffic and to forward it to your Mac) and it will almost be like you're sitting in front of your home computer.

Schools might block VNC traffic, however, so this may not work. If you have your own Mac at school, you can also try using something like Mark/Space's "SyncTogether" which will allow you to synchronize your home Mac's calendar, address book, bookmarks, etc. with a remote Mac.
