I recently switched from PC to Mac. I write a lot and used to use Microsoft Works. How can I get those documents on Pages, and if I can't use Pages, what should I use?

Mac OSX should automatically and natively accept .doc files (assuming you saved those in that format). One way to quickly read them, is to select the file and hit SPACE on your Finder, this will load up the document.

You can always get Microsoft Office for Mac, or use OpenOffice to read the file
