How do I get rid of this black bar at the bottom of my screen?

There's a black bar at the bottom of my screen on my Macbook that is telling all of the commands that I'm using and is physically speaking them to me. My cat jumped on my computer and it popped up. I don't know how to get rid of it. It looks like this.

Go to system preferences, then go to accesibility. From there, you can turn off all of the features that include speech. (I hate Mac OX X linux, because it isn't as advanced as Windows, and has no features out of the box)
