Do I have to purchase some separate program? Or is there already a built-in ability on the mac for me to type traditional Chinese with?

purchase Chinese font,maybe they have been installed in you MAC,then purchase input
method software such as ?????.if all is normal ,you can input Chinese.Traditional Chinese input method ,I suggest you apply cangjie.It is my favourite input method.
