Should I buy a macbook pro or sony vaio for college?

im starting college in a little over 1 year..i am wondering wether to buy myself a sony vaio or macbook pro? i know mac had boot camp so it can run both..but i want something worth my money..im willing to spend up to 1200...what should i get?

Hey craig, As you want a durable laptop then I would definitely say that go for Macbook Pro 13 because it is best in the business and you will definitely have the unique and excellent experience while having Macbook Pro 13 so go for it. I would highly recommend Macbook Pro to you.

Between those two overpriced brands I would go with Mac. Mac OSX is generally a better OS for the student, and it is much simpler to use.
IMPORTANT: If you get a Mac, wait until tomorrow! That's when the new MBPs come out.

macbook pro! it's worth the money and the vaio sucks(to me). the pro is more professional and is a lot more understandable and it's stylish inside and out.
